Kisharon School is a special needs school with a Jewish ethos which caters for pupils aged four -19 years based in Barnet but welcoming pupils from a much wider area. We currently have spaces for up to 40 students organised into six classes.
This is a very exciting time for our school as we are in the pre-opening phase of becoming a Free School with a new building also on the horizon which will accommodate 70 pupils and provide a wider range of facilities. This will also allow us greater opportunities to network with other special schools so we can continue to develop the provision we offer. Our vision is one of excellence as we aim to provide every pupil with learning opportunities throughout the school day and beyond by challenging and supporting them to make progress.
Our curriculum is exciting and challenging and our staff are dedicated to making it meaningful and relevant to all our pupils. Our team of in-house therapists work together with the teaching staff to set individual pupil targets in their personalised learning plans which are integrated across the curriculum and school day.
I hope you can gain a sense of our work and achievements looking through these pages.
